Closing Announcement

September 19, 2024

Dear Friends and Family,

We are very sad and disappointed to announce that Russell’s Pharmacy & Shoppe will be permanently closing on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Even though we have continued to have a steady influx of patients, we are closing due primarily to the direct negative impact of rapidly decreasing medication reimbursements along with no longer being in network for numerous patients. We have quickly come to the realization and resolution that we simply can no longer sustain our business in the current pharmacy industry.

We know that this news comes as a disappointment and a shock to many of you. However, after much prayer, consideration and examination of the facts, it has become quickly and extremely evident that closing is necessary. We truly apologize for the short notice, and we are so sorry for the inconvenience to you. We have genuinely enjoyed serving you and will miss you tremendously. Working here in the community with all of you has been an amazing experience. We are extremely grateful to you all for your support, for accepting us as a part of the community, and for allowing us to take care of you as your family pharmacy over the last six years. We wish you all the best and may our paths pleasantly cross in the future.

Regarding helping to provide continuity of care for you, our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible. Therefore, we do ask for your patience during the process. If you have any questions, please come by and see us or feel free to give us a call at (919) 908 – 1060.

Sincerely,

Darius and Terensia
